Chief Minister Meade attending OECS Authority and ECCB Council Meeting in Antigua

BRADES, Montserrat – Chief Minister of Montserrat, Mr. Reuben T. Meade joins other OECS leaders in Antigua today to discuss recent economic and financial developments in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). 

The chief minister is being accompanied by the Director of Regional, International and Trade Affairs Mr. Claude Hogan to the one-day session for the Third Joint Meeting of the OECS Authority and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Monetary Council for the meeting.

OECS leaders will also receive a report from the OECS Director General, Her Excellency Dr. Len Ishmael on the Status and Way Forward on the OECS Economic Union. 

Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Governor, Sir K. Dwight Venner, will also make a presentation on the progress to date on the ECCU 8 Point Stabilisation and Growth Programme.
